Information

The Saratoga Biathlon Club is comprised of individuals who enjoy the challenge which biathlon entails (both summer and winter). In addition, there are some members who enjoy the use of the club's private trail system (skiing, snowshoeing, running, biking, hiking, etc...), even though they don't participate in the sport of biathlon. The trail system is owned and maintained by Jim Schreiner, father of three time Olympian Curt Schreiner. There is a fully functional biathlon range, which contains ten lanes with knock down biathlon targets, capable of being set for either offhand or prone.

The club's headquarters are located in Day, NY, approximately 20 miles west of Glens Falls, NY.

Directions:

From the South: Use I-87 exit 15, head towards Saratoga Springs. Follow Route 9N North from Saratoga Springs to Corinth. Take a left on to county route 10 (route 10 is the first left after you cross over the railroad tracks on 9N). Follow 10 until it ends at county route 7 (South Shore Rd.) Turn left on to 7, the Saratoga Biathlon Club is located approximately 1.5 miles up on the left. It is the 2nd driveway after the hairpin corner with the painted rock.

From the North: Use I-87 exit 21, follow Route 9N South to Lake Luzerne. In Luzerne follow signs to Great Sacandaga Lake. Follow Saratoga County Route 4 for slightly more than 2 miles. Turn left on to County route 7 (This brings you over a dam, at the other end of the dam take a right and follow 7). Take 7 for approximately 7 miles, the Saratoga biathlon club is on the left about 1.5 miles past the intersection with county route 10. It is the 2nd driveway after the hairpin corner with the painted rock.

From the West: Use Fonda exit on I-90, follow route 30A North to Mayfield, take route 30 north to Northville. From Northville travel East to Edinburg (on CR 143, which become CR 113). Cross bridge over Lake to Batchellerville, at end of bridge take left on to county route 7 (South Shore Rd.). Follow 7 north for about 9 miles, the Saratoga Biathlon Center is on the right just past a hairpin turn to the left followed by a small hill. If you reach county route 10 you've gone about 1.5 miles too far.
